Summary: In 2006 I defended my Ph.D. thesis in Civil Engineering at Caltech -- my dissertation title is "Time-frequency analysis of systems with changing dynamic properties" where I use modern time-frequency analysis techniques for system identification.

...and I've held several research positions during my studies. I also served as the systems administrator for the Caltech Civil Engineering department and the ECF research computer cluster.
